Abstract
⺠Optical quality layers of PMMA containing CdSe/ZnS quantum dots were fabricated. ⺠Obtaining frequency down-conversion effect from quantum dots is applied to solar cell. ⺠Luminescence of quantum dots induces new charge generation in solar cell is verified. ⺠Both of frequency conversion effect and an increase in light confinement are expected. ⺠We propose core/shell quantum dots embedded in the active layer of organic solar cell.
