Abstract
► A novel microencapsulated phase change material (palmitic acid@AlOOH) is prepared. ► IR spectrum shows both characteristic peaks of palmitic acid and AlOOH. ► Encapsulated ratios of microcapsules are 52%, 57% and 69%. ► Melting temperatures of microcapsules are 50 °C lower than those of pristine PA.
