Abstract
ⶠn-Octadecane was encapsulated with crosslinked methylmethacrylate-based polymer. ⶠThree types of initiator were used at different polymerization temperatures. ⶠIncreasing crosslinkable functional moiety of crosslinking agent increased quality. ⶠMicrocapsule with pentaerythritol tetraacrylate has the highest latent heats. ⶠLower polymerization temperatures led to a lower heat capacity.
