Abstract
⺠OPV devices containing a series of porphyrins and N-confused porphyrins are prepared. ⺠The HOMO energy of the porphyrinoid and device performance correlate. ⺠Porphyrinoids act as hole traps in OPVs. ⺠Modification of the porphyinoids can systematically alleviate hole trapping.
