Abstract
⺠The Galapagos Islands are covered by fog during six months of the year. ⺠Weather stations were settled at the cloud base and center at Santa Cruz Island. ⺠Cloud water interception is estimated with a running wet canopy water budget. ⺠It is negligible at the cloud base but was estimated at 26 ± 16% of incident rainfall in the center of the cloud belt. ⺠Wind is proven to enhance interception rates.
