Abstract
⺠Monochromatic lidar can't reliably measure forest over topography and understory. ⺠Dual wavelength waveform lidar is capable of overcoming this. ⺠A physically based algorithm was developed and optimal lidar parameters explored. ⺠This was tested across a range of conditions and found to perform well.
