Abstract
⺠MSG radiation estimates are accurate and unbiased compared with flux tower measurements. ⺠Quality of MSG radiation estimates is uniform over Europe. ⺠Gridded MSG radiation is consistent with ERA-INTERIM but superior to gridded station data. ⺠Impact on crop simulation results over Europe is often non-linear.
