Abstract
⺠Explore the effects of advanced multiple injection strategies in a DI-diesel engine. ⺠Achieving good agreement between the predicted results and experimental values. ⺠Analyzing three factors for optimization including pilot, main and post-injection. ⺠Injecting adequate fuel in each pulse accompanied with an appropriate EGR rate. ⺠Beneficial effects for significant soot reduction without a NOx penalty rate.
