Abstract
⺠Heat transfer in gas-solid flow is studied numerically and experimentally. ⺠The Eulerian-Lagrangian approach is utilized to simulate the process. ⺠The model is validated for high speed flow and a good agreement is obtained. ⺠It is noticed that the equilibrium temperature is affected by the flow conditions. ⺠Pressure drop increases as the solid mass flow rate and particle diameter increases.
