Abstract
⺠The flow around and through a porous sphere is simulated. ⺠The recirculating wake is either detached from or penetrates the porous sphere. ⺠The wake may shrink and eventually disappear with increasing Reynolds number. ⺠The body surface curvature affects initial position of onset of recirculating wake.
