Abstract
⺠We analyse the transformation processes in the Swedish pulp and paper industry. ⺠External landscape changes have motivated the industry to make incremental changes. ⺠They have also increased the industry's interest in biorefinery technologies. ⺠Development along two new technological trajectories is identified. ⺠This could indicate a regime destabilisation, i.e. a critical point in a potential transition.
