Abstract
⺠Purpose of this study is to improve operation safety and service life of a CO boiler. ⺠Heat and flow in oxidizer, DeNOx, flue gas cooler, and DeSOx sections are analyzed. ⺠Influences of refractory thickening and inserting an ellipsoidal cone are discussed. ⺠Skin friction coefficient, pressure drop and temperature are compared. ⺠Refractory thickening is better for reducing friction, pressure drop and temperature.
