Abstract
Finally, our study reports the enhanced coproduction of squalene, ergosterol, oleic acid and biomass in yeast due to the overexpression of genes in the SB pathway by newly characterized constitutive promoters. It also shows that ergosterol overproduction indirectly upregulates its complementary pathway.
