Abstract
A step forward for molybdenum: Benefiting from nitrogen incorporation and in-situ confinement effects into nitrogen-rich carbonitride, efficient hydrogen evolution activity and stability were achieved, proving the validity of the combined structural and electronic regulations for improving the electrocatalytic performance. The use of a polymerization process provides a unique synthetic route to MoS3 nanoparticles, which can then be used to fabricate HERcatalysts.193
