Abstract
⸠The equilibrium dispersive and lumped kinetic chromatographic models are studied. ⸠The first three moments for both models are analytically and numerically calculated. ⸠A close connection between the models is analyzed for linear adsorption isotherms. ⸠The discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method is applied to solve lumped kinetic model. ⸠Results of DG-method are compared with analytical and finite volume schemes results.
