Abstract
▸ The equilibrium dispersive and lumped kinetic chromatographic models are studied. ▸ The first three moments for both models are analytically and numerically calculated. ▸ A close connection between the models is analyzed for linear adsorption isotherms. ▸ The discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method is applied to solve lumped kinetic model. ▸ Results of DG-method are compared with analytical and finite volume schemes results.
