Abstract
▸ Adsorption rates of O2, N2, and Ar were studied for two carbon molecular sieves. ▸ Adsorption of O2 is much faster than adsorption of N2 and Ar on both materials. ▸ Transport of N2 and Ar is limited by a barrier resistance. ▸ Transport of O2 is limited by a surface barrier and micropore diffusion. ▸ Barrier coefficients increase with increasing pressure.
