Abstract
⸠Adsorption rates of O2, N2, and Ar were studied for two carbon molecular sieves. ⸠Adsorption of O2 is much faster than adsorption of N2 and Ar on both materials. ⸠Transport of N2 and Ar is limited by a barrier resistance. ⸠Transport of O2 is limited by a surface barrier and micropore diffusion. ⸠Barrier coefficients increase with increasing pressure.
