Abstract
▸ We resolve a heat transfer controversy in modeling diesel particulate filters. ▸ We solve for fully developed incompressible viscous flow in porous square channels. ▸ We solve for the accompanying temperature. ▸ The resulting friction coefficients and Nusselt numbers depend upon flow. ▸ As in simpler 2D geometries, fully developed solutions fail to exist for high flow.
