Abstract
⸠We resolve a heat transfer controversy in modeling diesel particulate filters. ⸠We solve for fully developed incompressible viscous flow in porous square channels. ⸠We solve for the accompanying temperature. ⸠The resulting friction coefficients and Nusselt numbers depend upon flow. ⸠As in simpler 2D geometries, fully developed solutions fail to exist for high flow.
