Abstract
⸠High removals of BOM as AOC, BDOC and total aldehydes are seen in MBR systems. ⸠Modeling work presents MBR process dynamics in transient and steady states. ⸠Model predictions are good for AOC, BDOC and total aldehydes removals. ⸠Model simulations studies present sensitivity of dynamics to process variables. ⸠Model simulations demonstrate process recovery after shutdown and startup.
