Abstract
⸠Acetic acid can be converted by HDO below 300 °C at atmospheric pressure. ⸠Reaction pathways have been constructed based on literature reviews and product analysis. ⸠External mass transfer resistance was negligible at overall flow velocity of 2.54 m/s. ⸠Internal mass transfer resistance was negligible at an average particle size of 113 μm. ⸠The conversion of acetic acid decreases as internal reactor diameter increases.
