Abstract
⸠Our new model simulated different membrane tube arrangements in fluidized beds. ⸠Employing submerged membrane tubes the solids distribution is more homogeneous. ⸠Solids motion, bubble size and gas back-mixing are significantly reduced. ⸠The presence of the membrane tubes has a much larger effect than the permeation.
