Abstract
⺠Rhombic cavities may find applications in efficient electronic cooling and geothermal reservoirs. ⺠Rhombic cavities have been chosen for analysis due to its suitability in geometrical orientations. ⺠Detailed analysis of fluid flow, temperature distribution and entropy generation maps are done. ⺠Average Nusselt number (Nu¯) vs. optimal entropy generation (Stotal) have been analyzed in detail. ⺠Optimal conditions are found via minimum entropy generation vs maximum heat transfer rate.
