Abstract
⺠Salting effects are evaluated using the novel approach semi-regular diagrams (SRD). ⺠In SRD it can be observed that the mixture is creeping from one state to another. ⺠“Salting-in” and “salting-out” effects are showed more easily in this schematic form. ⺠SRD allows a qualitative analysis of the ability of a salt to break the azeotropic point. ⺠Using SRD a new salt effect was observed which we have called as breakdown of state.
