Abstract
⺠Glycerol/biodiesel gravity separation was measured by optical and MRI techniques. ⺠Smaller droplets flowed counter to the predominant droplet flow. ⺠Model of polydisperse droplets captured main features of sedimentation. ⺠Counter flow of small droplets was modelled using a dispersion coefficient.
