Abstract
⺠Polymorphism is exploited to enhance the purity of lincomycin hydrochloride. ⺠Polymorph I can accommodate more lincomycin B hydrochloride than polymorph II. ⺠A particular facet of polymorph I still remains in polymorph II. ⺠The content of residual facet of polymorph I and the product purity are correlated.
