Abstract
⺠The solid-liquid-equilibrium of dodecanal and 2-methylundecanal was measured and modeled. ⺠Crystal growth and purities were measured in a lab-scale layer crystallizer. ⺠We show that isomeric aldehydes can be separated by melt crystallization. ⺠The crystal growth was modeled depending on the process conditions.
