Abstract
⺠The continuous coprecipitation process of strontium by barium sulfate is studied. ⺠An innovative reactor/classifier is designed to optimise efficiency of this process. ⺠The advantages of this reactor are proved both experimentally and by modelling. ⺠Strontium decontamination factor and liquid-solid separation are greatly improved. ⺠This reactor represents an efficient device for industrial process intensification.
