Abstract
⺠In this work nanospheres and nanocapsules for pharmaceutical applications are investigated. ⺠Nanoparticles are produced through solvent displacement in different micromixers. ⺠A preformed PEGylated derivative of cyanoacrylate is used in the experiments. ⺠Results show different mechanisms of formation for nanospheres and nanocapsules. ⺠Experiments are used to derive design and scale-up criteria.
