Abstract
⺠Crystallization of phenanthrene from oil in water emulsions has been investigated. ⺠Physical mechanisms involved in the process have been observed under the microscope. ⺠The effect of process parameters on the size of product particles has been studied. ⺠The solvent has been removed by supercritical fluid extraction of emulsions (SFEE). ⺠The analogies and differences of this process with oiling out have been explored.
