Abstract
Synopsis: Dipolar 1,3,6,8-tetrasubstituted pyrene-based blue emitters containing electro-transporting benzimidazole moieties were synthesized. Two types of non-doped blue OLED devices were fabricated using two representative compounds and the devices exhibit excellent light-emitting and electron-transporting performance.161
