Abstract
An oxygen vacancy-rich layer modified WO3 photoanode was fabricated by a facile and effective method to enhance the transfer ability of charge carries in photoelectrochemical water splitting system. The enhanced charge carrier density and matched bandgap in oxygen vacancy layer modified WO3 photoanode give rise to an enhanced self-build electronic field in depletion layer.239
