Abstract
Successfully preparation of α-MnSe nanoparticles by facile hydrothermal method and investigated it as supercapacitor electrode using basic three electrode configurations as well as symmetric supercapacitor. In the three-electrode system, the α-MnSe exhibit 96.76 F g−1 at a current density of 0.1 mA cm−2 with energy density of 8.60 Wh kg−1 with excellent cyclic stability (103.40%). The as fabricated α-MnSe nanoparticles symmetric device showed specific capacitance of 23.44 F g−1 at a current density of 0.1 mA cm−2 in the presence of 1 M Li2SO4 electrolyte.229
