Abstract
The derivatives of 2,4,6-triphenyl-1,3,5-triazine containing fluorene, carbazole and phenothiazine moieties were investigated electrochemically. The comparative study of electrochemical and optical properties of the compounds was performed with the attempt to establish a correlation between their properties and Ï-electron conjugation lengths. Basic electronic parameters were estimated and electrochromic windows from three polymeric derivatives were formed. Electrochromic parameters, optical density (ÎOD) and coloration efficiency (CE) were determined.
