- Pt flowerlike nanocrystals on PDA/RGO are prepared via chemical reduction.
- Heating and PDA modification are necessary to synthesize Pt flowerlike crystals.
- Pt(F)-PDA/RGO exhibits excellent catalytic activity for methanol electro-oxidation.
- Pt(F)-PDA/RGO is easily activated and keeps good catalytic stability.
