Abstract
- SnO2@C porous microspheres were prepared via ethanol-thermal carbonization combined with simple steam activation.
- The as-prepared SnO2@C microspheres have hierarchical porosity and novel mosaic structure.
- The resulted SnO2@C microspheres exhibit high speciï¬c capacitance (420 F gâ1) and good electro-cycling stability.
- The maximum energy density of SnO2@C microspheres is up to 34.2 Wh kgâ1.
