Abstract
- We study the n- and p-type doping of bipolar polythiophenes with 1,3,5-triazine units.
- Spectroelectrochemistry during reduction in the solid state is presented.
- Cathodic reduction leads to the formation of stable radicals.
- The doping in the cathodic range is faster than the respective dedoping.
- 1,3,5-Triazine units stabilize radical anions in the polythiophene matrix.
