Abstract
- We synthesized the novel bisimidazolium iodide electrolytes using as DSSCs.
- The synthesized SiDIIs are viscous liquid with different color.
- SiDII1 showed a maximum photo-conversion efficiency of 6.2%.
- These electrolytes have characteristics of different chain length of siloxane moieties.
- These type electrolyte show good chemical stability and performance.
