Abstract
A composite film has been constructed by vanadium-substituted Dawson-type tungstophosphate α2-K7P2VW17O62·18H2O (P2W17V) and cadmium sulfide nanoparticles (CdS) using the layer-by-layer (LbL) self-assembly method. The incorporation of CdS nanoparticles into the composite film enhances its electron transfer ability and electrochromic properties.
