Abstract
⺠HQS modified polypyrrole nanowires were fabricated by anodic electropolymerization. ⺠The PPy-HQS nanowire array electrodes were tested as potentiometric pH sensors. ⺠The sensitivity of sensors depends on the electrolyte used for nanowire synthesis. ⺠Better sensing performance was observed for PPy-HQS nanowires than thin films.
