Abstract
⺠Recent advances and original approaches of enzyme biofuel cells using carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are highlighted. ⺠Enzymes were wired onto CNTs to enable direct electron transfer or mediated electron transfer. ⺠Different immobilization strategies were used to incorporate and to wire the enzymes in or around the CNT matrix. ⺠The performances and the evolution of reported CNT-biofuel cells and CNT-hybrid fuel cells are summarized.
