Abstract
⺠PET/Ag fibers were prepared via a biomimetic surface functionalization method. ⺠The method is fast, simple, efficient, nontoxic, as well as controllable. ⺠The silver layer coated on PET-PDA fibers was continuous, uniform, and compact. ⺠The as-prepared PET-Ag fibers possess good electrical conductivity. ⺠The binding force between the silver layer and PET-PDA fiber was strong.
