Abstract
The deposition of Au (1 wt.%) over a CuOx-CeO2 is beneficial for the total (TOX) and preferential (PROX) CO oxidation reactions due to the improvement of the CO adsorption. However, in PROX such effect is counteracted by the low O2 availability and the presence of H2, CO2 and H2O that favour side reactions and compete with CO for the active sites.
