Abstract
⺠Study on conversion of biodiesel derived crude glycerol to n-butanol. ⺠Anaerobic fermentation using immobilized Clostridium pasteurianum cells. ⺠Cells immobilized on a hydrophilic support Amberlite, an ion exchange resin. ⺠Concentration of crude glycerol found to have significant effect on product profile. ⺠25 g Lâ1 glycerol concentration gives maximum yield of n-butanol after 120 h.
