Abstract
⺠Mexican natural adsorbents have high adsorptive capacities for heavy metals. ⺠The removal kinetics was governed by the pseudo-second-order model. ⺠De-oiled allspice husk was used for removal of lead metal complexes after chemical modification. ⺠The resulting continuous adsorption process was a low-cost, efficient and eco-friendly.
