Abstract
⺠The NiO/MgO solid solution catalyst prepared by impregnation. ⺠The calcination temperature is the key for the formation of NiO/MgO catalyst. ⺠Catalyst torrefied at 800 °C had the strong interactions between metal and support. ⺠Methane reforming with CO2 as the investigated reaction. ⺠The surface H from CH4 dissociation would promote the dissociation of CO2.
