Abstract
► The effects of two-stage injection on fuel injection quantity, diesel combustion and emissions using diesel fuel. ► Significant interactions were found between two closely spaced two-stage injections. ► Combustion analysis indicated the possibility of simultaneous reduction of NOx and soot emissions.
