Abstract
⺠We model spontaneous ignition of wood, char and RDF by preheated primary air. ⺠Increasing the air velocity increases the temperature at which the fuel bed ignites. ⺠Increasing the air velocity increases the air temperature needed for ignition. ⺠Increasing the air velocity shifts the location of the ignition upwards.
