Abstract
⺠Multi-cylinder diesel engine ran on gasoline fuel without any major changes. ⺠With gasoline, we achieved NOx levels better/comparable to diesel map point. ⺠At lower EGR rated, injection pressures and lower BSFC and with extremely low smoke. ⺠However the CO and HC emissions were higher. ⺠There appears to be potential for simplifying future diesel engines.
