Abstract
												⺠Flame heights of diffusive jet fires achieved in a reduced pressure atmosphere through unique experiments at high altitude. ⺠Flame lift off behavior is revealed for the first time in a reduced pressure atmosphere. ⺠Their difference from those in the normal pressure atmosphere is revealed and quantified. ⺠Global model is developed to account for the pressure change.
