Abstract
⺠Biodiesel and zinc oxide nanoparticles were simultaneously synthesized using supercritical methanol. ⺠In situ formed zinc oxide nanoparticles behaved as a catalyst for transesterification. ⺠GC, XRD, SEM, TEM, FT-IR were used to analyze biodiesel and zinc oxide nanoparticles. ⺠This new process has the potential for providing an economical advantage in scale-up operations.
