Abstract
⺠Honne oil is a renewable energy source and a potential feedstock for the substitution of diesel fuel. ⺠This study characterizes the few properties of honne oil and diesel fuel blends. ⺠Most of the properties of blends of honne oil and diesel fuel are within the limit set by ASTM 6571-08 standards. ⺠Properties were determined according to BIS 1448 standards. ⺠Honne oil and diesel fuel blends could be used in diesel engine for short-term application.
